Egyptian-born, Australian film director/writer/producer Alex Proyas early shorts were acclaimed, including numerous outstanding short film awards at London, Melbourne, Cannes et al international film festivals.
He has forged an influential career with feature films equal in measure as cult and commercial successes, from his first feature, SPIRITS (1989), THE CROW (1994), DARK CITY (1998), GARAGE DAYS (2002), followed by I, ROBOT (2004) starring Will Smith, & KNOWING (2009) starring Nicolas Cage, and his most recent feature GODS OF EGYPT (2016).
His recent short films have also been lauded, including STRANGE NOSTALGIA, best experimental film in numerous film festivals, and MASQUE OF THE EVIL APPARITION with numerous best film and best director awards.
Alex recently launched www.vidiverse.com a streaming platform for indie films, and is spearheading a state of the art vfx studio www.hereticfoundation.com. Heretic Foundation have recently completed MERCY ROAD Australia's first fully virtual production feature film that Alex also acted as producer on.
Cathy has amassed a wealth of experience and history working on major award winning Australian & International Advertising campaigns, feature films and documentaries, web series, short films and music videos as well as large scale event production over the last 25 years, acting as General Manager on Australian music festival BIG DAY OUT.

Cathy Produced the feature film EVEN ZERO, directed & created by Enzo Tedeschi, and was Associate producer on SKINFORD, directed by Nick Kaceveski. She also worked as production manager on Porchlight/ABC’s KIKI & KITTY, directed by Nikkaih Lui. 2015, Cathy co-produced THE DEFECTOR for award-winning short film Director Scott Mannion. Previous producing highlights have included the 1997 Tropfest Finalist 9:06... SOME DOGS AREN'T PERFECT for Director Terry Serio and the controversial and confronting RITUAL HABITUAL featuring Nick Cave, a feature length documentary on the BIG DAY OUT directed by Paul Goldman (SUBURBAN MAYHEM, THE NIGHT WE CALLED IT A DAY, AUSTRALIAN RULES).
Morris has produced over sixty films including Glengarry Glen Ross, The Man from Elysian Fields, Price of Glory, Marilyn Hotchkiss Ballroom Dancing & Charm School, The Visit, The Signal, Weirdsville, and Master Harold & The Boys. Three of his films have premiered at Sundance; six have premiered at The Toronto International Film Festival; he's produced the opening night film at Slamdance, and High Life was his first film to premiere at Berlinale. Morris' films have been oft-feted as well: The Visit was nominated for four Spirit Awards; The Signal was nominated for The Cassavetes Spirit Award and Al Pacino was nominated for an Academy Award as best supporting actor in Glengarry.
In 2019, Morris executive produced Ladies in Black, directed by Bruce Beresford and starring Angourie Rice and Julia Ormond, which was released theatrically by Sony worldwide. The Swearing Jar premiered at The Toronto International Film Festival in 2022 and the documentary, No Ordinary Life premiered on CNN in September 2022. Morris has two documentaries in post-production with White Horse, a documentary about Gene Wilder directed by Chris Smith (Tiger King, Jim & Andy: The Great Beyond) and, another one about Shari Lewis directed by Lisa D'Apolito (Love, Gilda).

For 20-years as a motion picture agent at CAA representing Hollywood’s top directors, producers, and writers. Clients included: Michael Bay, Alex Proyas, Francis Ford Coppola, Michael Mann, Antoine Fuqua, Bill Condon, and Jerry Bruckheimer to name a few. He has participated in transactions ranging from traditional talent employment and production arrangements to the territorial sales of motion picture distribution rights worldwide, as well as the structuring of international co-productions.
He has taught Hollywood business practices and film financing at: Beijing Film Academy, USC, UCLA, Loyola Marymount, University of Hawaii, University of Arizona, American Film Institute, Academy of Art University, National Film School of Florence, Boston University, Chapman, and Columbia College.
A member of the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences (AMPAS), Society of Motion Picture & Television Engineers (SMPTE), Hollywood Professional Association (HPA), Content Delivery & Security Association (CDSA), Media Arts Services Alliance (MESA), Dances With Films, and a past 18-year member on the Board of Advisors of the Telluride Film Festival.

Jim is producing the feature film "Switzerland", starring Helen Mirren, directed by Anton Corbijn, based on the award winning play by Joanna Murray Smith which New York based Sales Agent - FilmNation sold multiple territories at the 2023 Berlin Film Festival / (European Film Market).
Jim has produced and executive produced films which have sold to US distributors such as Saban, Vertical Entertainment, Cinedigm Entertainment Group and Australian steamers such as Netflix, Stan, Binge / Foxtel, Paramount+, Amazon, Channel Nine and Network Seven. Films that Jim has produced have played at over 40 film festivals around the world picking up an array of wins & nominations; including winning the FIPRESCI (The International Federation of Film Critics) Jury Prize in Germany in 2020.
